Embarking on a new learning experience can be an exciting time, and Essex Libraries also has an online reference library which is really useful for learners. The library subscribes to a variety of reference sources so that our library members can use them free of charge. From newspapers and magazines to music, art and various encyclopaedias, these reputable resources will save you hours of fruitless internet searching. What’s even better, you can also use them from your own PC at home!
If you don’t have your own PC at home, come and use the library computers absolutely free. You can do your email, surf the Internet, use the library’s online resources, and decide which of the many courses provided by Adult Community Learning is just right for you! Make use of the wordprocessing and spreadsheet facilities too. And if you don’t even know where to start with a computer we can put you on the right track. If you do come across something that you just can’t find the answer to, then contact our central enquiry service, Answers Direct.
